Our statement of faith
Every ministry should say plainly what it believes, so you can test everything else it says against it. Here is ours.
The Scriptures. We believe the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and trustworthy Word of God, our final authority in everything we believe, teach, and do. Every page of this ministry is written to be checked against it.
One God. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: the Creator who sees, and hears, those who suffer.
Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man; that He was crucified for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily on the third day; and that He will return. His first public words are the announcement this ministry carries: the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.
Salvation. We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, not earned by works, and not withheld from anyone who asks. This is why our help is free: love is not a bargaining chip.
The Holy Spirit and the church. We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, comforts the grieving, and builds Christ’s church, a body that crosses every border, including the ones behind which our brothers and sisters are persecuted.
The Kingdom, in days like these. We believe the troubles of this age, persecution, violence, grief, and fear, are real, and that they are not the end of the story. The Kingdom of God is at hand: already breaking in wherever hearts turn to Christ, and coming in fullness when He returns. Every food parcel, counseling hour, and toolkit we carry is a signpost of that Kingdom.
Suffering and healing. We believe God heals, and that He is present even where healing has not yet come. Our trauma counseling is real care by a trained trauma counselor, offered in Christ’s name; it is not a promise of outcomes, and it does not replace medical treatment. We say this plainly because trust is the only credential a new ministry has.
We stand within historic, biblical Christianity as confessed in the Apostles’ Creed. Kingdom Ark is a new, independent evangelical ministry being established in the United States, serving in Pakistan.
