When Jaranwala burned, we showed up
We came not only with food, but with prayer, to sit with grieving families and remind them they are not forgotten.
On 16 August 2023, mobs incited by false blasphemy accusations attacked the Christian community of Jaranwala, in Faisalabad, Pakistan. More than twenty churches and over eighty Christian homes were burned and looted. Families fled with nothing.
With the help of people like you, we carried emergency relief into these neighborhoods: parcels of rice, lentils, cooking oil, tea, soap, and other basics, delivered house to house. We came not only with food, but with prayer: to sit with grieving families and remind them they are not forgotten.
We reached approximately 42 Christian families in that distribution, at a value of approximately PKR 400,000. That figure comes from testimony rather than audited ledger entries, from a season before Kingdom Ark had formal accounting systems in place.
