Behind the numbers are patterns the world's monitors describe in plain words. United Nations experts have raised concern over a worsening pattern of forced conversions and forced marriages of Christian and Hindu women and girls, cases the courts too often validate rather than overturn. The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom documents children abducted, converted, and married off while their parents are told to pay for their return.
Most Pakistani Christians descend from communities regarded as "untouchable," and many remain trapped in poverty and bonded labour. Violence makes headlines for a day; the grief, fear, and trauma it leaves behind last for years, and for that, almost no help exists. That is the wound Kingdom Ark exists to reach.
